State Innovation contest winner

WE’RE VERY PROUD. MARION NÉGRIER IS ONE OF THE WINNERS OF THE ETAT 2024 INNOVATION COMPETITION.
THE PROMISING RESULTS OF HER DOCTORAL RESEARCH MOTIVATED HER TO EMBARK ON THE GREAT ENTREPRENEURIAL ADVENTURE. SHE IS IN THE PROCESS OF CREATING HER GREEN TECH START-UP, WHICH WILL CONTINUE HER RESEARCH INTO NEW SOLUTIONS FOR TEXTILE RECYCLING, WITH THE AMBITION OF TRANSFORMING THESE TEXTILES INTO NEW HIGH-PERFORMANCE, RECYCLABLE MATERIALS.

Marion Négrier’s project has been recognized under the I-PhD section, whose objective is fully in line with her intentions to develop her doctoral work with a view to achieving a technological breakthrough. Marion will receive support to accelerate the development of her business.

Marion defended her thesis on “From textile waste to cellulose aerogels for controlled release applications” in December 2023. She went on to do a postdoctoral fellowship to deepen her research and train in Deeptech entrepreneurship at the same time.

A prize-giving ceremony for the winners was organized on September 19, 2024. Under the banner of acceleration in favor of France’s sovereignty, it was an opportunity for the French government to congratulate the 177 winners of the 2023-2024 edition of the Innovation Competitions, all categories combined.
