In early November, she had the opportunity to present her research at the 21st International Conference on Polysaccharides and Glycoscience (ICPG) in Prague.
HER PRESENTATION ON “Starch and starch-hydroxyapatite aerogels and xerogels: hierarchically structured bio-based materials for potential cancellous bone repair” WAS NOTICED AND AWARDED.
Hiba Bouras was awarded 3rd Prize for the best oral presentation.
ICPG chose to reward young researchers with a rigorous selection process based on evaluations of the following points: – Novelty and importance in the field of research – Quantity and quality of experimental results – Presentation – Answers to questions. This distinction comes with a cash prize and complimentary participation in the next ICPG conference.
Congratulations to Hiba.
This award is well deserved and also provides that little extra boost before moving on to writing the manuscript.
