Carla Vincent awarded by DumBio GDR

6 June 2025

First conference presentation and best poster award for Carla Vincent!

We’re very happy and proud too for Carla Vincent, in her 1st year of doctoral study. She was awarded the Best Poster Prize at the spring session of the GDR DUMBIO. Carla presented her first research results on composite hydrogels for dual drug delivery.

Carla is supervised by Sytze Buwalda, S&P team, and Elie Hachem, CFL team.

The final days of the CNRS-INRAE DUMBIO research group were held at CEMEF from June 4 to 6, 2025. They were jointly organized by Tatiana Budtova and Sytze Buwalda, CEMEF, and by Isabelle Capron (INRAE) and Christophe Chassenieux (Le Mans université), GDR Directors.

The general aim of the DumBio GDR is to share knowledge and know-how on biosourced materials and biopolymers, and to develop new functionalities for these materials.
Carla’s research project is clearly part of this dynamic, as it aims to develop a dual drug delivery system enabling the simultaneous and independently controllable release of two active substances.
